3rd of July....THE PARTY!

Party prep for this party is a breeze. We've got it down to a science now!

My husband is THE BEST helper - stepping right in, and tackling a job as it arises.
Makes this party so easy.

Covered the non-plastic chairs with red/white picnic check paper cloth.

I wanted the menu to be simple, so I wasn't slaving day-of:
BBQ Beef Brisket
Hawaiian Pulled Pork
Mac & Cheese
Potato Salad
Macaroni Salad
Hawaiian Rolls
Homemade BBQ Sauces

Dippin Dots
Ice Cream Sandwiches
Drumsticks

Our good friend, Ben - waiting for the guests to arrive!

Stats were this:
High of 79 degrees, slight breeze and 73 during fireworks

57 Adults
53 Kids

Street ready for
1 hour of street-side fireworks

Sidewalk chalk, sparklers, paper-fans,
Glow-sticks, glow-necklaces,
light-up rings, and noise makers - Check.

It was such a fun year - can't wait for next year!!!
Won't you join us?

You have such a great yard for entertaining. I still just love what you did with those tables and chairs. I so wish we could sit, eat, drink and laugh together. It's weird...I miss you yet I have never met you.

Tracy, that looks like a great party. We usually celebrate in a friend's house just around the corner and EVERY YEAR we have the San Clemente Police crashing it. NO Fireworks allowed...Party Poopers!!!!
